A little about Semper Fly Fishing Adventures......
Owner/Guide, John Moran is a 13 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I have been fishing since I was about 2 years old. I first learned to fly fish over 20 years ago. Fly fishing was my also my fathers passion. Dad passed away in 2002, but every time I am in the water, I know my dad is with me (more then likely telling me I am putting the wrong fly on!).
Semper Fly Fishing Adventures gets it name partially from the United States Marine Corps motto, "Semper Fidelis" or "Always Faithful". My family has a long, proud Marine Corps heritage, and since we all love to fly fish, I thought this would be an appropriate name.
I have a lot of local knowledge of the area waters. Of course the tailwaters of Lake Taneycomo is one of my favorites. Swan Creek near Forsyth is another favorite spot for bass and crappie. Beaver Creek is a fantastic float with abundant smallies and largemouth.
Table Rock Lake and Bull Shoals are loaded with bass and crappie and there are many places to get into the water with a float tube and enjoy the day. Table Rock,Bull Shoals and Swan Creek are an easy 15-20 minute drive. Beaver Creek will take a little longer to get there, but it is well worth the drive.
